The American Numismatic Association will issue a limited-edition medal for its July 31-Aug. 4 Worlds Fair of Money, scheduled for the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.
The medal features the Statue of Liberty on its obverse, while the reverse shows the current city skyline. It was created by medallic artist Virginia Janssen and produced at the Hoffman Mint.
It comes in a 2.5-inch bronze version with a mintage of 150. It costs $32 pre-issue, and $34 thereafter. Pre-issue prices are good on orders received by July 12.
A two-medal set containing a smaller 1.5-inch silver medal and a 1.5-inch bronze costs $45 pre-issue, then $47. It too is limited to 150 produced.
Other items available for the convention are a convention badge with ribbon drape for $13, pre-issue $12, and a convention bar for $4.50. A starter set for displaying the convention bar costs $18.
Shipping is $5 per order.
